On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Palomar High School standout Jack Kelley’s current college team, the Akron Zips, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at Skeeles Field. This was their first matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Ting Stadium against Purdue Boilermakers.
