On Sunday, March 23, former Olympian High School standout Katie Steinmetz’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, lost 9-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at Mountain Lion Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 12 p.m. at Mountain Lion Field against Adams State Grizzlies.
