On Sunday, Feb. 9, former Otay Ranch Senior High School standout Octavio Mendivil’s current college team, the Ouachita Baptist Tigers, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Augustana Vikings.

The game took place at Rab Rodgers Field. This was their second matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. at Majestic Park against Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.
