On Sunday, April 13, former Mater Dei Catholic High School standout Roman Cruz’s current college team, the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys.

The game took place at Brandt Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cowboys this season.

The ThunderWolves’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Rawlings Field against Metro State Roadrunners.
