On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Bonita Vista High School standout Lala Macario’s current college team, the San Diego State Aztecs, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game took place at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
It was the last San Diego State Aztecs’ game this season
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature action from these former South Bay San Diego area high school stars.
These ex-South Bay San Diego area high school standouts will take the field during the week of Monday, Sept. 1.
