On Sunday, March 23, former Eastlake High School standout Freddy Swingle’s current college team, the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks, lost 21-8 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the North Central Cardinals.

The game took place at Zimmerman Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Scarlet Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at Herr-Baker Field against Marian Sabres.
