On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Mater Dei Catholic High School standout Elijah Cook’s current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, lost 13-12 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes.

The game took place at Fiscalini Field. This was their third matchup against the Coyotes this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m. at Cougar Baseball Complex against Cal State Monterey Bay Otters.
