On Saturday, April 26, former Olympian High School standout Katie Steinmetz’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at Assembly Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 4 p.m. at All Star Park against Colorado Christian Cougars.
