On Friday, Feb. 7, former Eastlake High School standout Ava Chavarria’s current college team, the North Dakota State Bison, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the College of Charleston Cougars.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Patriots Point Athletics Complex against Virginia Tech Hokies.
