On Saturday, March 29, former Olympian High School standout Katie Steinmetz’s current college team, the UCCS Mountain Lions, won 11-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Adams State Grizzlies.

The game took place at Mountain Lion Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Grizzlies this season.

The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Yellow Jacket Field against Black Hills State Yellow Jackets.
