On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Mater Dei Catholic High School standout Lexi Sosa’s current college team, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Illinois Salukis.

The game took place at Nusz Park. This was their first matchup against the Salukis this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Nusz Park against North Texas Mean Green.
