On Friday, Feb. 7, former Mater Dei Catholic High School standout Destinee Noury’s current college team, the UNLV Rebels, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds.

The game took place at Eller Media Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Thunderbirds this season.

The Rebels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 3 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium against Oregon Ducks.
