On Friday, Feb. 7, former Eastlake High School standout Ava Chavarria’s current college team, the North Dakota State Bison, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Tech Hokies.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their first matchup against the Hokies this season.

The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 4:30 p.m. at Patriots Point Athletics Complex against College of Charleston Cougars.
