On Friday, Feb. 28, former Mater Dei Catholic High School standout Lexi Sosa’s current college team, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, won 17-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Alabama State Lady Hornets.

The game took place at Nusz Park. This was their first matchup against the Lady Hornets this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Nusz Park against Northwestern State Lady Demons.
