On Sunday, March 2, former Eastlake High School standout Jake Cekander’s current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Aurora Spartans.

The game took place at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 3:45 p.m. at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex against Benedictine Eagles.
